Resources for Shareholder Voting at Company AGMs

InfluenceMap produces investor briefings on corporate climate policy engagement to aid shareholder voting decisions at companies' Annual General Meetings (AGMs).

Analysis of corporate climate policy engagement is a strong indicator of corporate governance and management-level thinking on the transition to a net-zero economy. Therefore, if a company's climate policy engagement is inconsistent with the Paris Agreement's 1.5°C goal, this suggests that the company's business model is not prepared for a low-carbon transition.

These briefings broadly fall into three categories:

  1. Briefings to aid voting decisions on shareholder resolutions with an ask specifically related to climate policy engagement.
  2. Briefings to aid voting decisions on shareholder resolutions with a broader ask related to climate change and/or policy engagement.
  3. Briefings to aid voting decisions on management resolutions such as director re-election or the approval of climate transition plans.

For each company, follow the “Download Briefing” button below to access InfluenceMap’s deep-dive investor briefing. Registered users can access InfluenceMap’s full online profile of the company, including access to the underlying data, by clicking on the company logo.

InfluenceMap's online database (LobbyMap) is the world's leading database on climate policy engagement and currently tracks, scores and assesses over 500 companies and 250 industry associations. As such, InfluenceMap's data can be used as a key resource for investors at various stages of the resolution process, including identifying potential resolution targets on policy engagement and providing robust data to advise on resolution asks and supporting statements.
